Prolong the Lifespan of your Perfume!

Your perfume is your ultimate confidence booster. Just a few drops of it on your skin’s pulsating points can fill up your confidence tank like no other beauty prop in this world can. The only problem is that many times the perfume you wear has a very short lifespan, so you may lose your confidence booster when you need it the most (like the first kiss or your job interview). Luckily for you, there is one small trick that may triple the lifespan of your perfume, and all it requires from you is to try out your beauty alchemy skills.

The Importance of Applying Scented Body Lotion

If you are not thrilled with the fact that you were blessed with oily skin type, now it is time to acknowledge this fact as it is: a blessing in disguise. Oily skin tends to lock the moisture and release the perfume molecules with a slower rate, which is not the case in people with dry skin type. Still, knowing that 90% of the world population has a dry body skin, I am positive that you will love to learn the recipe of how to make your own scented body lotion. The scented lotion will nourish your skin and prevent the fast evaporation of the perfume.

Find a Fragrance Free Body Cream or Lotion

If you want to fill up the nostrils of everyone who is in close proximity with your favorite perfume, (like in a mile radius or so) then you need to provide a base for your perfume. The scented body creams are the perfect foundations for that, as they will saturate the skin and prepare it for its olfactory adventure. The first thing you will need is a fragrance free body cream. Never try to mix fragrances, as I can assure you, all you will create is an olfactory mess. Baby skin creams and lotions are usually fragrance free or you can opt for body lotions that were specifically designed for people with sensitive skin. These lotions are always fragrance free.

Work Your Magic

As soon as you have found your fragrance free body cream, you have two options. One option is to enrich it with a few generous sprays or drops of your favorite signature perfume, or the other option (which I highly recommend) is to enrich it with a few drops of an essential oil that has the same base as your favorite perfume. This way you will have your own scented body cream that will make your skin to ooze with the most intoxicated olfactory nirvana. As an added bonus, this will be the most affordable perfume enriched body cream of all times.
